Estonian Design Classics Market

7.06 kell 11-15

On June 7, as part of the Tallinn Old Town Days, a market will take place in the courtyard of the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design, showcasing and selling Estonian design classics from the 1960s to the 1980s — from everyday items to printed materials.

The Design Classics Market is a new format in addition to exhibitions for introducing design heritage. The market aims to bring design heritage closer to everyone visiting the Old Town. Visitors can closely examine design pieces from the 1960s to 1980s, engage in dialogue with experts in the field, and, if they wish, purchase items for themselves — for example, from the Art Products Factory, Tallinn Jewellery Factory, or Tarbeklaas.

Design collectors and companies working with Estonian design heritage will be selling at the market — including NaguMuiste, Otsin asjadele kodu, Raamatukoi, eAntiik, Eestimaised, Kaia Kask, and the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design.
