“Display Garden Display” is an open-air exhibition of the work of eight designers graduating from the Masters in Graphic Design at the Estonian Academy of Arts. The MA program encourages students to explore graphic design as an expanded field of practice that extends to researching, writing, editing, manufacturing, organising, publishing, writing and performance. “Display Garden Display” expands the traditional format of a graphic design exhibition by responding to the form of a sculpture garden. Through displaying these works in the courtyard of the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design, what does it mean to turn these concepts and practices inside-out.
