Anu Raud introduced a new exiting vision of the folk art heritage into Estonian textile art in the 70s already. It is no longer an approach of deconstruction or repetition of detail, but an approach that applies the ethnographical symbols while treating the national romantic subject matter in a contemporary, original way.
