From the 1960s onwards the metal art is developing quite impetuously. Although it was considerably common to design functional objects, the favorites of the decade became the wall plates and mural panels; the popularity of the latter continued even later. The small intimate pictures of the early stage of metal art grow over the decades into monumental works made in different materials and in various techniques that have found their place in the interiors of public places. To a greater or lesser extent, many generations of metal artists have been active in this field.
