Salvo was the pioneering enterprise of plastic production in Estonia. Designing and producing the mountain ski boots began in the 1970s; it denoted a significant change both for the enterprise that had been previously focused on household goods (and plastic helmets) as well as signified a major turn in the local recreational culture.
