Lilian Linnaks / Estoplast. Lamp. 1960-61.
In 1960, Lilian Linnaks started to design products for the only local lamp manufacturer during the soviet period. Instead of folded cardboard and plastic that had been often used until then, she soon introduced a radically different handwriting into the local lamp design. The series of opaline lamp globes was fashionable in any aspect following the Nordic modernism in its form. In accordance to the generally accepted idea of rationalization, new forms were combined into various sets.
